The Selectboard has been working hard with staff to combine Town and Village

functions to gain operating efficiencies and save money.  Here are some of some of the

accomplishments we have helped bring about.

 

  •  A strong, collaborative working relationship with the other members of the Board
  •  A strong, collaborative working relation with the Village Trustees
  •  The successful rehabilitation of the Town office building at 81 Main Street.  Staff

           is scheduled to move back in early March, 2016.  I served as the liaison between

           the general contractor, staff and the other members of the Selectboard for this

           project

  •  A successful combination of the Town and Village Finance Departments resulting

           in one tax bill, one checking account, one payroll system and one set of operating

           accounts

  •  A successful combination of the Town and Village Public Works departments and
  •  A successful combination of the Town and Village Highway and Street

          Department
